This Silicone Grease Keeper Insert by Jarware is designed to fit standard-size wide-mouth jars, making it perfect for straining bacon grease, canola oil, and other hot cooking oils. Save your precious grease for cooking and future projects, like soap making!
Wide-mouth jars work great for grease because there is less dripping down the side of the jar as you pour the grease in. We used a Pyrex for years, but love being able to strain out any burnt bits from our bacon drippings.
The insert combo features a fine mesh with a small lip to keep it secure while pouring and strain out any unwanted particles. The bright, happy silicone pig lid keeps your grease drippings fresh in the fridge—it's so handy! The pink storage lid is made of 100% food-grade safe silicone, free of BPA and phthalates, dishwasher safe - so you can forget about messes or spills!
