PopTop Sealable Stainless Steel Drinking Lid for Mason Jars (Regular Mouth)

I use mason jar as to go container for morning smoothie. Removing lid and then placing it somewhere can be messy. The theory for this pop top lid is sound. That said, it I shake and then remove pop on portion, some liquid adherent to pop on can spill. The slanted geometry of the lid encourages residual liquid to well after sipping. Ok, as soon as I wrote that, I realized I’ve been using lid upside down! Don’t do that! The top should project up, like a to go coffee cup (which I rarely get; thus my confusion). Except for tiny probability of splash when pop off lid, good product.
You need your own jar ring or band to screw on.
